The Sermon on the Mount is one of the most well-known of Jesus’ speeches. The first part of this message (Matthew 5:1-20) includes the beatitudes, the commands to be salt and light, and He promises greatness to those who teach and obey even the least of God’s laws.
One way to help reinforce memory of this passage in our children is to use handwriting practice. Using visual, auditory, and kinesthetic memory helps a long passage like this to “stick” in their minds.
Check out our new Sermon on the Mount (Part 1) student workbook. This downloadable Bible copywork workbook is similar to all of our Write Through the Bible resources. It combines the disciplines of handwriting, vocabulary, dictation, and reinforces the memorization of Scripture.
The Sermon on the Mount Write Through the Bible copywork book is available in both ESV and KJV versions and manuscript and cursive fonts. We hope these workbooks can be of benefit to you and your family as you prepare for the coming school year!
