The Nicene Creed is the most widely used creed in church liturgies around the world. This creed has stood the test of time and is still used in Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, and many Protestant churches. The authors of this creed took a strong stand against those who denounced the full deity of Christ. It proclaims Christ to be “God of God, Light of Light, Very God of very God; Begotten, not made; Being of one substance with the Father.” The Nicene Creed was first written at the First Council of Nicaea (AD 325) and edited at First Council of Constantinople (AD 381). This mini-book contains 70 days of handwriting practice (this will last you about one semester). The translation used is from the Book of Common Prayer.
